Circles
Circles is a 30 minute documentary film that looks at the internal dynamics of Manchester's Circles of Support and Accountability, a community organisation created to facilitate the reintegration of high risk sex offenders into society. The filmmaker will observe the relationships between the volunteers who donate their time to the organisation, and the Core Members (ex offenders) who are currently part of the program.
Circles aims to break the taboo surrounding sex offences, and offenders, in the UK through the power of visual media. It portrays a reality that makes most people feel uncomfortable but is nevertheless important to face.
